A brand’s website can make it look as if every town is covered. In practice, the number of physical stores and local crews is much smaller. Here is what the networks’ own websites show, as checked in October 2026.
Key takeaways
- Outdoor World has four WA locations; Stratco has regional stores in six towns plus Perth.
- Stratco’s Port Hedland and Esperance pages offer phone quotes only, a sign there is no local installer.
- Many regional “coverage” claims are landing pages, not local crews. Ask who installs and who engineers.

Store networks in WA
- Outdoor World: four WA locations, in Bunbury, Geraldton, Rockingham and Wangara.
- Sheds n Homes: WA teams in Perth, Manjimup, Geraldton and Albany. Kalgoorlie is served through a Geraldton-linked operator rather than a local store.
- Stratco: stores in Mandurah, Bunbury, Busselton, Geraldton, Kalgoorlie and Broome, as well as Perth.
- Fair Dinkum Builds: branches in Karratha and Northam.
- Ranbuild: regional dealers including Albany and Esperance.
Where the map goes quiet
Stratco’s pages for Port Hedland and Esperance invite customers to phone to discuss installation options, which suggests there is no local installer there. Albany and Kalgoorlie-Boulder, with around 30,000 people each, have no Outdoor World or Sheds n Homes store of their own.
Landing pages are not local crews
Many Perth companies advertise regional coverage through web pages for each town, and some regional “services” are really national DIY kit sellers listed on trade directories. That includes us: My Patio is Perth-based, and our Albany pages describe how we work with regional customers. We think it helps to say that plainly, and to explain how installation or kit delivery will actually work for your address.
Questions to ask any supplier
- Who will physically install the patio, and how far are they travelling?
- Who engineers it, and is it certified for your wind region?
- Who lodges the council permit?
- What is the product warranty, and what is covered?
See your town in the coverage lookup, or read the full gaps report.
